EPISODE 4 SHOW NOTES:

Are you a GOT fan? Because I ABSOLUTELY AM! I feel like when Game of Thrones is in season, I just live my life waiting for it to be Sunday again LOL - but I digress.

I have seen every episode of Game of Thrones at least 3 times (because it takes at least that to pull out all of the golden nuggets and easter eggs they hide in there, right?). And in doing so, I have made some notes.

How can Game of Thrones be applicable to the life of the entrepreneur. Well, I am about to tell you! In this episode I break them down one by one. Take a listen!

1. DO NOT DESPISE HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

2. BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS AND TRUST THE VISION.

3. KEEP GOOD COUNSEL. YOUR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON IT!

4. SOMETIMES YOU GOTTA GO NORTH OF THE WALL.

5. ASK YOURSELF, WWTD? (WHAT WOULD TYRION DO?).

6. SPEAKING OF TYRION LANNISTER - A LANNISTER ALWAYS PAYS HIS/HER DEBTS.

The Treasure in YouTube

I want to tell you why Coaches and Consultants are desperately needed on YouTube right now.

I wouldn't be a good friend if I wasn't honest with you about this... YouTube Yourself could change the whole course of your business. It could bring in consistent clients, increase your cash flow, and make you an industry leader.

Which leads me to the point of this post Coaches and Consultants, Industry Experts, and Professionals are DESPERATELY needed on YouTube right now. Why? Because there aren't very many!

I always get asked the question about YT being over saturated. And the truth is, yes and no!

Yes - there are certain niches that are "oversaturated" and hard to break into. Mainly, Video Games and Beauty and Lifestyle Channels. So if that's the kind of channel you want to build - you still can, but understand, it may take a while.

...there is a HUGE opportunity for YOU!!!

You know what's not oversaturated? The Personal & Professional Development Industry. So if you are a coach of any kind (business, life, finances, etc) this is the BEST time for you to make your mark on the platform. Think about it, I bet you can name on one hand how many people in your industry you follow on YouTube. There aren't many. Which means, there is a HUGE opportunity for YOU!!!

🔹There is an opportunity for you to show up.

🔹There is an opportunity for you to make noise.

🔹There is an opportunity for you become the "guru" of your industry!

You could change EVERYTHING in your business in a MAJOR way. The question is, are you ready for that kind of fame? Are you ready for that kind of impact? Are you ready for that kind of income?

Give Yourself A RAISE!

It's been reported that 80% of people HATE their jobs (yes... The article used the word hate). That's a serious epidemic if you ask me. Especially in the 21st century!

I was telling my mom that sometimes I forget that I used to work a traditional job lol. I don't really remember what it's like to have to get up and be somewhere at 830 am (until I have some early meeting that requires me to sit in rush hour traffic... Then it all comes back to me lol).

I thank God everyday that It didn't take me long to realize that working a traditional job was never going to give me the lifestyle I wanted. I'd never make 7 figures sitting at someone's desk!

Annual salaries are often capped with raised at 1%-8% annually, quick Stat for ya.

As an entrepreneur, I have made more money in the last 2 years working for myself, then I have in the last 10 years combined working for other people. My salary is also not capped, or tied to what someone is willing to pay me for a particular set of skills. I was there. I was grossly underpaid and grossly unfulfilled.

I was not about that life. So I changed it.

Now, I get to determine that myself. I get to be in a position to decide how much money I want to make and when I want to make it. That level of autonomous income resolve is kind of amazing. I am also happier. Probably cuz I get to wear yoga pants and t-shirts every day, but I digress... The point is...

if you are happy with where you are financially, then great! If not, give yourself a raise! Start a business, create a side hustle. Do something!

There are alternatives available to you. I never really understood why people stay where they are when, quite frankly, the WORLD is open to you, and there is nothing but possibility on the other side of your discontentment.
