What is your life story?

Your story is that thing that you get to own!

Even if you owned nothing else in this world, your story will always be yours - and there's so much beauty in that.

Something to put into deeper consideration, how much if that story you get to write, re-write, and co-write.

You can be a victim or a martyr. But you can also be the hero. You get to choose! And what liberty there is in that choice.

Ask yourself today, are you living the story you have always wanted to live... Or have you settled for a version cheap paperback novel of your true purpose?

If it's the latter, well we can change that! Today is a new day! Who do you want to be?

I know that the last few weeks (errrggg, months?) has been a doozy! Mercury just went direct-it was retrograde for 3 weeks and man did I feel that!

COVID doesn't seem to want to die. Miami is now one of the countries largest Hotspots. 🤦🏾‍♀️

And people... Well they are still people. I'm still having the race conversation almost daily.

But I've also noticed this perfect storm of self awareness and self discovery. I've been in it. All my clients have been in it. It's everywhere. We are seeing parts of ourselves that have bee in hidden for a long time. Desires, fears, habits, it's all bubbling up.

In case you haven't noticed, the world is changing. And we all get to change with it. Even better, we all get to dictate how we want the change to happen! And we get to choose how we show up!

All the world's a stage (literally) and we all have a part to play! No audition necessary.

What story will your life tell?

NO to Racism!!!

RACISM!!!!! I hate it! 😡

Thank you all for having this conversation with me and coming with an open heart.⠀

Here's what others have said: "Not one video that I have come across thus far has done what your video has I hope it goes viral for the sole purpose that I know more people need to hear it" - D. ⠀
⠀

"Dear Tracy, thank you so much for the recent live stream you hosted. It was by far the greatest informative live stream I have watched. Thank you for risking your platform, I feel it was a risk worth taking that will only build your following. 'I know that we are smarter than this' --- we are! Your voice is powerful, if you were running for office I would vote for you as you are a change maker." - S. ⠀

"The greatest video I've watched so far on BLM" - W. ⠀

"Tracyyyy! Your live was so good. Thank you so much for speaking to these topics. They have come up in so many conversations I've had and I am usually so stunned it's even an argument that I don't know what to say. I really appreciate how well you compiled research and explained how it fits into our context." -B. ⠀

I've posted the video down below for those of you who haven't had the chance to watch it.

If you need points to help explain to loved ones who just don't get it....

If you are the one who just doesn't get...

If you're just tired and need a resource to point people to...

Please use this.⠀

Black Lives MATTER!

Checking in on my STRONG friends.

How are you doing?

Sounds like a loaded question. But with all that's going on right now, sometimes its the right one.

As COVID wasn't enough 😫

Watching videos of #AhmaudAsbury and #GeorgeFloyd, hearing about #BreonnaTaylor, and FEELING all that comes with it. It is a lot in a very short amount of time. Its compounded grief and anger and emotions that I cant even begin to express. I know many of you feel the same.

Checking in on you because, if youre reading this, you're probably a leader in some capacity. And people look to you and lean on you to be a voice of reason, a light in the dark, a beacon. And thats heavy weight to carry.
Personally, I find myself teetering between what seems to be a slight depression (because I have no other words to categorize it at the moment) and outright rage.

I'm thankful for a community that allows me to do that. I've spent the last week or so having  many conversations. I have had many crying sessions by myself and those around me.

I have tried several times to film videos of my own thoughts. I've tried to record podcasts to get it out there but I find that I either start crying to the point where my words are incoherent or my words become destructive. Neither of which is helpful.

I have shared a number of resources, posts, and ideals on IG stories. From those whom I felt have been able to articulate what I'm feeling in a more coherent way. I'm in awe of those who have been able to be so eloquent in this season. Lemme tell you something...when it comes to this particular subject matter, that is NOT my gift 🤣

I've had countless private conversations. But... I understand that my public platform carries weight. And so, I will ABSOLUTELY be saying something.

And just so we are clear - #blacklivesmatter

So whatever form it takes...thats the message.

So as I gather myself and my thoughts, I wanted to reach out to you and let you know that I grieve, I mourn, I hurt, I cry. this is very real for me as a black woman, as an American, and as a human being! But I am also letting my voice be heard, as should YOU!
