Vision Changes the Game

“A leader has the vision and conviction that a dream can be achieved. He inspires the power and energy to get it done.” ~ Ralph Lauren

Did you know that Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.”

Did you know that Oprah Winfrey was fired from a TV reporter job cuz they said she was ‘unfit for TV.”

Michael Jordan was cut from his High School Basketball team and Academy award winning Steven Speilberg was rejected from film school THREE times!

Thomas Edison was called remedial by his teachers and it took thousands of times before he figured out the light bulb.

And yet they are legendary! What's one thing they have in common? One thing that kept them going despite the rejection, the failure, the setbacks?

Vision

What is it?
It's the mental image you keep ever before you.

Why is it important?

It's important because it gives you direction and keeps you focused on where it is your trying to go.

You use it for motivation and inspiration, especially when you hit road blocks. Those road blocks are normal! Just keep going!

I always tell my clients that their vision was given to them for a reason. Whatever you do, whatever happens, whatever ups and downs you have to encounter, stay the course. God doesn't abandon the vision, and neither should you.

So...what's your vision?

Digitally in Demand!

Entrepreneurs, let me clarify something for you... Generally, in any industry, the top 10% are responsible for the top 90% of the revenue.

That means until you are in that top 10%, you are working to get your piece of only 10% of the pie.

That's not a lot.

The top 10% are the ones that make this look easy! Their life, their business, its aspirational! Make no mistake, it wasnt an overnight success situation. They put in the work. And that's what you must do... Work diligently to be THE BEST! Know your UVP and take it upon yourself to communicate that effectively in the online space. Social proof your brand. Tell stories strategically.

That's #digitalleadership my friend!

Until you are digitally in demand, your main focus is to become so.

As an ONLINE entrepreneur, you should be present on social media (that's not optional - so don't give me the I don't like social media excuse. If you're starting off your business fighting with the system, then, don't get mad when you're not making money). You should have digital products. IE - digital courses. Passive income. Things that don't require your presence for you to make money. Your paths to profit should be set up so that you wake up to money in your bank account. Everyday.

You should have a YouTube channel - and honestly, this is where I find a lot people miss the mark. YouTube isn't the easiest of social channels, I get that. But I am hosting a few free trainings for you soon, don't worry 🙂. So, make it your mission to be digitally in demand™

I could write a book on being digitally in demand™ (actually I am hahaha. If I can just get it to my editor, I think we will be in good shape lol)

Good Stuff!

Today's Mental exercise... Take 30 second and scan the room around you. I want you to make a mental note of everything in the room that is 💙blue💙. As soon as you are done, come back to this post. Ready? Go!

All done? Awesome. Now, without lifting your eyes away from this screen, I want you to think about everything you saw that was orange. Yes... I said ORANGE! Probably not as easy huh? Because you spent all that time focusing on the blue stuff.

Well... Life Works in the same way, my friend. I mean, we could get into the science of it all and your reticular activating system and such, but in summary: You will always see what you're looking for and THAT will effectually become your reality.

Choose to see the good stuff today 😉 .

X Marks the Spot…

Theres a story about Henry Ford and a problematic generator in one of his factories. None of the electrical engineers could figure it out. So, they call upon a well known engineer, Charles P. Steinmetz in to the plant. He was called the "little giant" - small in stature but huge in knowledge. Upon arriving, Steinmetz rejected all assistance and asked only for a notebook, pencil and cot. Steinmetz listened to the generator and scribbled computations on the notepad for two straight days and nights. On the second night, he asked for a ladder, climbed up the generator and made a chalk mark on its side. Then he told Ford’s skeptical engineers to remove a plate at the mark and replace sixteen windings from the field coil. They did. Problem solved.

Henry Ford was obviously happy... until he got the bill. It was $10,000 (equivalent to around $200,000 today) Ford knew Steinmetz was a genius, but $10k? Really? He asked for the bill to be itemized. What exactly was he paying $10,000 for?
Steinmetz, responded with the following:

Making chalk mark on generator $1.
Knowing where to make mark $9,999.

#savage 😂
Ford paid the bill.

My clients come to be because I know where to put the X.

This specific x factor makes them a lot of money and changes their lives! It's a gift that keeps on giving 😊

Romans 12: 6 “In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.
Today, take a moment and ask yourself what the gift God has given you. That's the beginning. Once you know that we can work towards monetizing it. it will be as easy as knowing where to put the “x"

PS... I'm opening up a few micro intensive slots in the next month. Because I want you to move into 2019 ready to level up your whole life with your X Factor. So, stay tuned! Announcement will be via email. So, I hope you're on the list!

If It Were Easy…

If it were easy, everyone would be out here living their best lives now.

But... Clearly, the vast majority are not. Most people settle. They settle for "well, this life/job/person/weight/whatever is good enough." Good enough? Ew.

See here is the problem, people like to conduct experiments with their lives and not get down to the nitty gritty of decision making.

We want something, but it's too hard, too expensive, too time consuming, etc... We don't go all in because well, going all in is scary. And out fear of the unknown is much stronger than our faith.
So... Because of this fear, we find out selves having back up plans to our true purpose. We kick around the tires instead of just making a choice. We try things out, never fully committed, and the minute it gets uncomfortable we peace out. ✌🏽 Heres the reality: your vision will require a gutt check.

To get what you want, you're gonna need to do what you've never done.

To get what you want, you're gonna need to do what you've never done. You are going to need to become something you have never been. And then... And only then... Can this make manifest.

So, how uncomfortable are you willing to get?

Because if there's a limit, then you may wanna rethink this desire of yours.
Theres a drastic difference in how you operate when you simply want something vs when you DECIDE to actually have it.
I've been meditating a lot the theology of desire and Psalm 37:4, and remembering that God gives you the desires of your heart AND God gives you the desires of your heart... Yes its a double entendre... Let that settle for a sec.
