Fear of failure? Fear of success? Or just maybe...

It’s neither. Maybe you're actually afraid of what people will *think* about your failures or your successes.

Will they think you’re a big fat loser if you fail? Will they hate you? Will they think you’re stupid for chasing dreams that don’t amount to anything?

Will they think you think you’re all that if you succeed? Like you’re all bad and bougie now that you’ve done some things in life?

Will you lose all your friends? Will your family come after your money? I mean...I’ve heard (and thought) all kinds of crazy things.

And those thoughts will sabotage your progress if you let them! You will pretend everything is ok when it's not because you don't want people to know you're struggling. You will not want to celebrate wins because you think your win is somehow offensive to the people around you. Its awful!

I get it! We are programmed to think about what others think. Because inherently, we are designed for community and connection. When we perceive that we will lose that connection based on how people perceive our failure or our success, well...that’s when the fear can kick in.

Here’s the thing, you will never be able to control what other people think about you. As a matter of fact, other people’s opinions of you are none of your business.

But here’s what you can control: your opinion of yourself!

Win, lose, or draw...through the successes and failures...

Do you like you? That’s really the question.

Learn to see yourself the way God sees you. Make a commitment to love yourself through anything.

It’s a game changer! I promise.

And if you do need someone to hold space for you as you process... I got you! ❤️
