Starting a business in a pandemic? 👇🏽

Got this question yesterday:Should I leave my job during a recession to build a business? 🤔

Well, I always say there are two types of people.Type 1: As soon as they know they are called to entrepreneurship, the countdown to quit begins.Type 2: Keeps job until the business is successful and self-sustaining.BTW, There is nothing wrong with either of these as long as you’re not making the decisions from a place of fear. I was Def type 1. But there’s validity to type 2.If you’re in a 9-5 & feel called to say for a bit, Consider that your 1st financier. Having the stability may give you peace to empire build without worry $$$. In this case, the job is a blessing. Use the time wisely, but make it very clear to YOURSELF that it’s temporary! If you know God is calling you to start a business, be a life coach, write a book, speak, etc and you’re STILL working at a job with no progress year after year, this is a much deeper conversation.Lots to say, let’s start here: taking the leap requires a level of trust that is going to seem uncomfortable and inconvenient. You won’t realize how many control issues you have until you really gotta give it up lol. And It’s NEVER going to feel like the “right time” so let’s go ahead and throw that out the window.

Know this: God is gonna do what God does, but you’re gonna have to show up for it. We all talk about Peter’s lack of faith but let’s not forget, he was the only one that got out the boat.

You’re allowed to doubt. You’re even allowed to be afraid. You can give yourself to permission to feel that. You are human. You should not, however, give yourself permission to be in your feelings so long you don’t do the thing you’re actually put on this planet to do.Live the highest version of your calling. Start now.♥️♥️♥️
